Cvent is seeking a Accounting Manager, International Consolidations, to play a critical role in achieving our overall objective of delivering best-in-class financial reporting. This is a highly visible role that frequently interacts with executive management & external auditors as part of managing the international financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a broad-based international accounting, tax and financially oriented background with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment. Proficiency in monthly close of international subsidiaries, knowledge of local & US GAAP, world-wide consolidations, cumulative translations adjustments/FX gains & losses, and technical accounting is expected. This position reports to the Director, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting and will work closely with the Senior Manager, Accounting.

In This Role, You Will:

Manage the monthly international subsidiaries' close and consolidations processEnsure the accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and recording investment in subsidiaries in the consolidated booksCollaborate with the Cvent tax team to determine the proper amounts and recording of international subsidiary dividendsPrepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting package for international entitiesCollaborate with the external auditors on the quarterly reviews and year-end audit of the consolidated financial statementsMaintain policies and procedures to ensure SOX complianceMonitor and manage compliance with current and new local and US GAAPCollaborate with the Cvent India team and local auditors to complete statutory auditsAssist in onboarding new international legal entities by managing their registration process and tax/accounting setup, effectively collaborating with tax, HR and legal teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with local standardsManage special project for which global accounting representation is requiredWork on M&A accounting to ensure correct accounting is created from an intercompany relationshipWork on liquidation process of any subsidiaries, including netting of investment in sub and equity balancesHere's What You Need:

Bachelor's degree in AccountingMaster's Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or a CPA a plus5-10 years of progressive accounting related work experienceA proven background in leadership and management of a company's accounting functionBig 4 experience preferredPublic company/International reporting experience preferredExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and able to work well with a teamA detail-oriented, self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgencyAbility to comfortably work in an intensely deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple deliverablesPossess technical expertise related to US GAAP, IFRS, and external reporting including consolidations, stock option accounting, revenue recognition, acquisitions, and foreign currency transactionsExperience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or similar accounting systems preferred
