Manager, Fund Accounting [ Growth Oriented]
Responsibilities
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the accounting and operations for one of the company's business development companies within its Global Private Debt Strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
Resolving cash reconciliation items;Reviewing daily transaction postings;Recording of monthly closing accruals;Calculating management and incentive fees;Reviewing and reconciling capital activities and statements maintained by the transfer agent:Preparation of monthly fund reporting and performance metrics;Coordinating with independent auditors, custodians, and transfer agents;Assist in the production of monthly and quarterly reporting for leverage facilities;Reviewing quarterly and annual 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings;Participate in projects and continuous process improvements for key deliverables; andPerforming other tasks as required.Qualifications/Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.5-7 years of relevant fund accounting experience.Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis;Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems;Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor, accounting systems and Markit WSO (notice portal) is a plus.
