This role is with a fast-growing company in the sports industry, specifically focused on the golf space located near Burr Ridge, IL. The company is a leader in providing customized, high-performance products to athletes and enthusiasts, with locations across the globe. They're known for combining cutting-edge technology with exceptional service, making a significant impact in the golf world. In this position you will be exposed to various areas within the overall Accounting function. You will play a pivotal role in Month End, Invoicing, Expenses, and ad hoc reporting/analysis. This is a highly visible role that will regularly partner with the CFO, Controller, and Assistant Controller!
Job Description
Prepare journal entries, assist with balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records.Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accurate accounting and timely payment processing.Collaborate with vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies in their invoices.Manage the prepaid expense process, ensuring accurate monthly amortization entries.Monitor corporate credit card usage, review available credit, and manage expense reimbursements.Oversee the expense reimbursement process, ensuring timely and accurate employee expense report processing on a weekly basis.Maintain debt schedules, process debt payments, and track interest payments.Identify opportunities for operational improvements and prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management review.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
