Overview
The Senior Manager of SAP & Business Applications will be responsible for overseeing the management, support, and enhancement of all business applications, including SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, Power Apps, and other critical systems. This role will act as a bridge between the business and IT, ensuring that application services align with business needs and priorities. The Manager will manage relationships with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders, prioritize enhancements and projects, and ensure appropriate staffing and resource allocation. Additionally, the Manager will assess the future state of the on-premises SAP S/4HANA system, including potential migration to the cloud via SAP Rise or other options.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.• 10 years or more of experience• Proven experience in managing business applications, including SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Power Apps.• Strong leadership and team management skills.• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:• In-depth knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, Power Apps, and other business applications.• Strong strategic planning and project management skills.• Ability to manage third-party vendors and negotiate contracts.• Proficiency in digital transformation initiatives, including automation and AI.• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to act as a liaison between business units and IT.

Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the SAP & Business Applications team, including third-party vendors.• Develop and implement strategies for application support and enhancement.• Ensure the team is adequately staffed and trained to meet business needs.• Act as the primary liaison between business units and the IT department.• Explore and implement digital transformation initiatives, including automation and AI, to drive innovation and improve processes.• Prioritize and manage application enhancements and projects based on business needs.• Oversee the support and maintenance of SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, Power Apps, and other business applications.• Ensure timely resolution of application issues and effective communication with stakeholders.• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance and user satisfaction.• Oversee delivery execution: manage SAP-related projects and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery, within scope and budget, while prioritizing based on business needs.• Manage resources and capacity: allocate and balance resources efficiently, addressing any gaps through hiring, training, or other means.• Track performance and implement improvements: monitor KPIs for SAP projects and service delivery, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.• Mitigate risks and handle change requests: identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage change requests effectively to ensure project success.• Manage relationships with third-party vendors providing application support.• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure optimal service delivery.• Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for business applications.• Align application services with the company's strategic goals and objectives.• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in application services.• Assess the current on-premise SAP S/4HANA system and evaluate future state options.• Explore potential migration to the cloud via SAP Rise or other cloud solutions.• Develop a comprehensive migration plan, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.• Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range
We have budgeted an estimated $145K for this role.
