We are looking for a Sr. Human Resources Manager for our Deland, FL office!
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in executing our human resources and employee engagement strategies. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the HR department across our US, Canadian, and Mexico locations. This position reports to the VP of Human Resources and will support various program rollouts over the next several years. This position will manage a dynamic team of HR and Payroll professionals.Essential Functions
Serve as an Sr. HR Business Partner to department leaders, providing sound advice that considers company culture, policy, and legal requirements. Collaborate with leaders to address HR-related challenges and opportunities.Lead and mentor the divisional HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Work with the VP-HR to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives aligned to our "People Passionate" framework.Handle complex employee relations issues and investigations.Formulate and update HR policies in compliance with local labor laws; and ensure consistent application and adherence to HR policies across the organization.Ensure workforce planning and talent acquisition activities are effective, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.Oversee the performance management system, providing guidance to managers on goal setting and evaluations. Implement and monitor employee development plans.Manage talent management programs to identify, nurture, and retain high-potential employees.Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to compensation and benefits.Manage/coordinate HR activities in the USA, Canada, and Mexico with in-country resources, ensuring compliance with local regulations.Oversee payroll processes for all locations.Develop and implement employee programs to enhance the overall employee experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a positive work environment.Utilize HR metrics and analytics to make data-driven decisions and identify trends.Generate regular reports for senior management on HR key performance indicators.Other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.10+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role leading an HR department.HR Certifications preferred. SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR are strongly preferred.Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations in the USA is required. Experience with Canada and/or Mexico employment is preferred.Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time, including internationally.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Proficient in HRIS (UKG Pro preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently using information gathered from stakeholders to develop solutions.Strong presentation and data analysis skills.Managing internal and external resources in a fast-changing, decentralized environmentStrategic thinking, decision-making, presentation, and analytic skills.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
