Operating Material Handling Equipment or being willing to learn.Auditing inbound freight for accuracy and damages.Maintaining discrepancy logs and collaborating with vendors.Using RF units to scan barcodes and relocate shipments.Following safety procedures and maintaining cleanliness.Communicating with supervisors and coworkers.Understanding quota requirements and maintaining 5S standards.Responsibilities:
Able to operate Material Handling Equipment or willingness to learnAudit inbound freight for accurate count, damages, and examine products to ensure damaged products are not used in assemblyMaintain discrepancy logs of each vendor and create scorecards for eachWork with inbound vendors to correct all discrepancies.Maintain and distribute reportsUse RF (radio frequency) units to scan barcodesRelocate incoming shipment to identified locationFollow safety procedures for equipment used to reduce potential for accidentsUse box cutters to cut packaging materialsMonitor equipment to ensure proper functioningAbility to lift products to proper staging locationCommunicate with supervisors to resolve conflictsUnderstand quota requirements to accomplish required production levelsCommunicate with coworkers to share expertiseMaintain 5S standards to support safety and cleanlinessRequired Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs.6 months Forklift Truck Experience (preferably stand-up forklift experienceRemain standing for an extended period of time up to 10 hoursAble to perform with constant movement of the armsPreferred Skills
English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...Experience using SAPProduction and Processing - Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.Time Management - Managing one's own time.Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.Critical Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.Systems Analysis - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.Basic Math - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Spatial Orientation - The ability to know your location in relation to the environment or to know where other objects are in relation to you.Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.Dynamic Strength - The ability to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time.
