I'm partnered with the VP of Finance at a leading, private equity-backed, $1B manufacturer and provider of innovative ingredients and formulas located near Highland Park, IL that delivers high-quality solutions to meet the diverse needs of their clients across various industries. They are looking to add a FP&A Manager to their growing team!
As a FP&A Manager, this individual will act as a Finance Business Partner, overseeing the day-to-day finance functions for a $300M+ division within the growing organization. This individual will have very high exposure to senior leadership, reporting to the VP of Finance and partnering cross-functionally as a vital member of their Global Finance Team. This is an exciting role where you will have full ownership of the divisions finance functions, gain global exposure, and partner with the sales, pricing, operational, and marketing teams to grow the corporate and commercial functions of the divisor!
Job Description
FP&A Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee the monthly forecasts, budgets, and key strategic business plans, including the analysis and variance explanations for senior leadershipProvide consultation on key strategic initiatives to ensure all business units achieve their strategic goalsAct as a change-agent and trusted partner to the business teams by providing insightful analyses and information that will enhance business decisions and company profitabilityCreate models to ensure the viability and direction of strategic business efforts including revenue analysis, revenue alternatives, benefit analysis, and cost scenariosWork cross-functionally with the Accounting team to create process improvements and proceduresProvide analytic reports and variance analysis for monthly review meetings with stakeholders on trends and monthly/yearly results of the businessSpearhead continuous improvement initiatives for the division in regards to sales, customer profitability, product pricing, etc.Support ad-hoc work and analysis by creating reports and analysis as needed across the businessMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field6+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Commercial FinanceManufacturing industry experience requiredSystem experience (SAP, Power BI, Planful, Epicor) preferredProficient in Microsoft ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience interacting with internal and external business partners and leadershipWhat's on Offer
