is looking for a
Wire Harness Assembler
who will fabricate and assemble complex Space flight cable and harness assemblies.

Gilbert, AZ 85233Position:
Wire Harness AssemblerPay Rate : $42-$57/hr. on W2, depending on experienceDuration : 9 months or longerSchedule:
2nd shift, 9/80, work 9-hr days on Mon-Thurs, and an 8-hr day every other Friday. It ends up being 80 hrs. over 9 days.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manufacture cable/harness products.Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wire lists, and drawings.Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, and adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.Provides regular communication to shopping leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.QUALIFICATIONS:
US Citizenship is required.Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.Should be capable and experienced in working in a broad-based manufacturing environment.A strong understanding of wiring processes, crimping, splicing, wire routing, and assembly techniques as it applies to NASA standard harness assembly operations is required.Must have experience in computer software such as Microsoft word, MS Outlook, and Excel. (Excel is most important)The candidate must work well alone and within a team environmentMust possess good problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and communication skills, and work with limited supervisionMust be a self-starter, must be self-motivated, and a team player.Familiarization with ESD, FOD, 5S, and Tool Control highly preferredMust have the ability to focus and have strong attention to detail.No heavy lifting required, equal standing and sitting with some reaching.Preference to candidates with NASA J-STD and/or IPC 620 certifications.
