Job Summary
The Cloud Engineer will work on designing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for a 12+ month contract, supporting the scalability, security, and reliability of cloud-based solutions.
This role requires extensive expertise in Linux, networking, cloud architecture, and cloud security, with a focus on AWS services and automation tools.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain cloud infrastructure services on AWS, including IAM, Networking, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and security practices.Design, implement, and optimize cloud architecture, with an emphasis on Red Hat Linux.Utilize scripting languages, such as Shell or Python, to automate tasks and manage infrastructure.Deploy and configure infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins.Collaborate in a hybrid cloud environment, with familiarity in platforms like HPE GreenLake Cloud.Ensure cloud systems are secure, resilient, and meet the needs of ongoing projects.Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years in managing AWS infrastructure servicesExtensive knowledge of Linux (preferably Red Hat), networking, APIs, and cloud securityProficiency in scripting languages like Shell or PythonStrong experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins)Environment Familiarity: Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments, such as HPE GreenLake CloudPreferred Qualifications
Additional experience with hybrid cloud management and advanced security practicesStrong problem-solving skills and adaptability in remote work environments

Bachelors Degree
