Gear boxes, ball screws, pumps, and actuators are some of things among their specialties. Our client has very stable relationships with their customers including strong aerospace manufacturers. With a high volume and growing revenue environment they are looking for the right person to come in and manage internal and customer quality.Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain quality and site related documentation and the upkeep of process implementation and adoption.Ensuring conformance to established standards and aerospace requirements and develop appropriate measures for assuring compliance to the defined processes.Conduct frequent audits to ensure continued compliance and upkeep of processes required by AS9100 and NADCAP standards.Ensure annual audit plan is conducted, review audit packages, train auditors, establish and maintain records of compliance, analyze audit metrics and develop improvement plans.Oversee project time lines and co-manage multi-department working teams.Assist in meeting team goals through coaching, training, guiding, directing, consulting and teaching necessary personnel.Assure adequate support for the current system, collaborate with users to develop refinements, upgrades, or additional capability to support the strategic business objectives.Manage the Corrective & Preventive Action Board (CAPA) and the Corrective Action Request (CAR) process by tracking CAR status and ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are effective and timely.Work with other departments and personnel as necessary to assure accurate responses and perform verification and follow up activities.Ensure the QMS conforms to the requirements of AS9100.Conduct Management Reviews as the management representative, reporting on the performance of the QMS and on opportunities for improvement.Achieve customer satisfaction scorecard metrics for quality and delivery and coordinate recovery plans as required.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
