Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends. Location:This position is at the St. Michael facility full time.Essential Functions:Directs personnel and schedules work on assigned production lines. Delegates tasks to appropriate associates to complete tasks in a timely manner. Assists on the production lines when necessary. Ensures appropriate information is communicated to those within their area of responsibility and communicates appropriate information back to supervisor.Conducts and completes training for all new hires.Monitors and increases overall line efficiency.Ensures product meets specifications and goals in production, yields, labor, and quality.Completes any necessary paperwork assigned by production supervisor or manager (i.e., downtime monitors, line testing, etc.) in a timely manner.Provides associates with direction as delegated by production supervisors and managers as it relates to leadership, training, and work duties.Must have knowledge in all relevant departmental reports and/or programs, as well as ability to analyze such data and make corrections where necessary (i.e., labor hours, labor reports, yields, PPH, etc.)Must be able to conduct group one-on-one meetings with associates on a variety of applicable subject matters.Documents appropriate information, as needed. Must be able to draft/conduct performance reviews and/or other documented meetings with associates.Responsible for providing back up in absence of Production Supervisor.
