Job Summary
The Network Engineer will oversee data center engineering, focusing on architecture, design, automation, operational enhancements, and quality assurance testing for network deployments.
This role emphasizes expertise in routing and switching, load balancing, and firewall management within a multi-vendor network infrastructure.
The Network Engineer will work closely with partners to drive platform features and enhance network tools and platforms for efficient monitoring and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, and evaluate new data center platforms and technologies in a lab environment.Architect and enhance network deployments, focusing on spine-leaf infrastructure.Update and manage network tools and platforms, including monitoring, inventory, and reporting systems.Collaborate with partners to optimize platform features and ensure robust network performance.Ensure effective load balancing, firewall management, and routing protocols including BGP, Multicast Protocol, VXLAN, EVPN, and IPv6.Required Qualifications
Experience with routing and switching, specifically Cisco Nexus or Arista platforms.Proficiency in load balancing, with familiarity with F5 or A10.Knowledge of firewalls, particularly Juniper or Palo Alto, with a solid understanding of firewall technology.Understanding of BGP and TCP protocols.Basic Python scripting skills, including the ability to run, troubleshoot, and edit existing scripts.Preferred Qualifications
Background in programming and automation, with Python programming experience.Knowledge of data center spine-leaf network infrastructure and multi-vendor strategies.

Bachelors Degree
