Job Description: Data Analyst
Reports to: Program Manager
Status: Full-time Exempt - Grant Funded
Scope: The Data Entry Analyst provides data support to Disaster Case Managers
This position will serve survivors of the Maui Wildfire on Maui and the surrounding islands of Hawai'i
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides data entry & analysis as requestedCoordinates entry of alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer following format displayed on the screen and enters necessary codesCompares data entered with source documents or re-enters data in verification format on screenAbility to work in both a virtual & on-location environmentDevelop and revises, as needed, a plan for efficient data entryMaintains resource database for use by Disaster Case ManagersHighly confidential survivor data must be protectedConfidentiality is requiredQualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Base, or related fieldSkills, Licenses, or other Competencies Preferred:
Bilingual English/Spanish preferredExcellent interpersonal skillsGood organizational skillsTime management skillsExcellent communication skillsMust work well in a Team setting and individuallyProficient in Office 365Must be computer literateWorking Conditions:
Must have a valid driver's license and consistent access to a registered, insured, and reliable vehicle to travel within the service area to fulfill the requirements of the position. Substantiated mileage is reimbursableThe position is hybrid, in-person, and remote work. Must be a resident of Hawai'i, preferably on Maui.This position is grant funded thru 8/31/2025, with the possibility of extension.
