The
Continuous Improvement Specialist
is responsible for planning and executing facility modifications and optimizing operational methods at our client's facility in the greater Raleigh area. In this role, you'll participate in multiple projects and leverage Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement (DMAIC), problem-solving, and skill development. Acting as a change agent, you will work closely with organizational leaders to champion improvement initiatives and eliminate barriers to enhanced processes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Lean Leader or independently lead cross-functional projects to analyze and optimize workflows, driving efficiencies across operations.Support cost control studies and initiatives focused on cost reduction, inventory management, and production record-keeping.Partner with various departments to identify and implement high-quality, efficient process improvements.Facilitate problem-solving sessions with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve processes.Co-facilitate Kaizen events to drive continuous improvements within operations and office environments.Share best practices with other Lean Specialists across sites and contribute to coordinated improvement plans.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree1-3 years in Lean or continuous improvement3+ years in related rolesSix Sigma Green Belt Certification (preferred)
