Network Engineer

Title: OT Network Administrator Location: Houston, TX Schedule: Hybrid Duration: 6-12 contract (potential to convert) Day-to-day: Working closely with operations departments to identify network issues Partner with the operators when there are issues for break fixes Network incident troubleshooting Network design and maintenance Migration of operations systems/platforms from the IT environment to the OT environment Installation/set up of OT environments Involvement in various migration projects Understanding Murphy Oil's network infrastructure and methodology Working with firewalls, routing, and networks Must-haves: 5-10 years of experience in network engineering Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Claroty, Cisco, Carbon Black, wireless/WiFi experience (Cambium/TropOS), SolarWinds, Azure Education not required Network certificates Proficient in Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word Plusses: Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Industrial Network Specialist (CCINS), Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) or higher, and other relevant certifications are a plus.
