Proven success in finding the optimum solution for every customer problem in explosion protection.Position Summary: The primary function of the Regional Sales Manager is to meet and exceed growth objectives by working closely with the sales team to establish and maintain product specification acceptability, provide pre-sale and post-sale product application support, create and conduct formal and informal training sessions (including personnel, representatives, distributors, and customers), and provide technical assistance during product installation and start up. Primary Responsibilities:Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and gross profit margin goals.Monitoring the sales market, including competitor's product, product trends, and changes in technology impacting products.Responsible for achieving the approved sales forecast for each assigned product line within the territory and/or to assigned accounts (sales representative) directly as well as through distribution channels.Manages and continuously improves business development process including lead generation, lead follow up, quotations preparation, pricing strategy, quotation follow up, closing negotiations.Provides continuing analysis of both territory, and major account potential.Manages the assigned territory and accounts so desired long-range plans (growth, and account penetration) for the sales territory are realized.Responsible for the performance and development of the Factory Direct Sales Reps, Inside Sales, Key Account Managers, Engineering Staff as well as independent sales representatives/ distributor representatives.Prepares action plans by individuals as well as for the team for effective search of and development of sales leads and prospects.Based on our product line and market strategies, initiate, coordinate, development of sales related action plans and implements them.Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.Role models good sales performance and direct customer relationship building of key accountsCoordinates and executes pricing and rebate strategies to win orders while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.Maintains accurate records of pricing, sales and activities, through CRM.Performing technical and marketing presentations to groups and taking part in trade shows, conferencing and marketing events.Provide accurate sales forecasts to Management for all major customers.Manage, prioritize, and communicate engineering resources for customer quotes and orders to all sales and operations staff.Assist accounts receivables with difficult collections.Roll out new processes & procedures to direct reportsSign and approve Returns and Credit memosAssist in the development of and execution of incentive programs for direct reports.Controls expenses and meets budget guidelines.Perform other related duties as required.Participates in the development of marketing plans.RequirementsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related areaMinimum 10 years sales experience in the industrial marketplaceCustomer orientedStrong LeadershipGood verbal and written communication skillsHigh degree of professionalism and of organization in tasks and responsibilitiesProfessional appearance and presentationDemonstrated technical aptitudeProven ability to operate under pressureProficiency in office management software (MS Office)Experience with Customer Relationship Management SoftwareMust be familiar with competitive product offerings and be able to position the company's products to best compete in the global marketplaceMust have 3-5 years of electrical industry experienceMust be able to travel 25%
