MEF JEE/Java (Portal) Developer

to support a federal client. This candidate will design and develop JEE/Web Application with user interface experience as part of the IRS MeF Portal Applications. Comply with project guidelines, perform unit and integration testing, and maintain web applications as required.MeF is a platform for electronically filing returns with the IRS. It provides SOA based web services that filers use to submit returns and provides web applications for IRS users to work with the returns. MeF validates filed returns, determines their disposition, and interfaces with other IRS systems for downstream processing of the returns.Primary Duties:

Design and develop Web Applications as part of the IRS MeF solution in compliance with project guidelines - 50%Perform unit and development level integration testing as needed - 15%Perform code maintenance based on needs of IBM testing, customer testing, and production issues - 15%Support of integration of MeF Portal Web Applications with MeF Backend application - 10%Documentation of software design and code - 10%Required Skills/Level of Experience:

JEE (Web Application, REST, Servlets, JSP, XML, JAXB, SAX, DOM, Log4J), HTML 5.0, JavaScript, XSLT, SOAP - 8 yearsSpring MVC v5.x framework, React, Angular, Maven, Section 508 - 4 yearsJBoss EAP v7.x Development and Administration - 4 yearsApache Web Server v 2.4 - 4 yearsDevelop automated unit tests with JUnit - 4 yearsRational Software Architect or Eclipse or JBoss Studio - 3 yearsPreferred Skills:
