Job SummaryMedline Industries has an immediate opening for an Associate Technical Support Specialist in our Durable Medical Equipment product division! This position will be based out of our Northfield, IL headquarters and will offer a hybrid model of work. The Associate Technical Support Specialist will provide over the phone and email assistance which includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, product specifications, replacement part numbers and communicating trends to division Product Managers and Quality Engineering.Job DescriptionHave a basic understanding of the entire DME product line, R&FP and some key Capital items in order to assist customers with (but not limited to) accurate product information, recommendations, specifications, troubleshooting or assembly Maintain an equal workload output (phones/emails/crosses) and provide accurate and timely serviceExhibit professional written and verbal communication skills while entering troubleshooting notes into SAP and speaking to customers over the phone and replying to emailsCross-reference and/or research external brands to identify corresponding Medline products on high profile or "emergency" requests from the division.The ability to find information while navigating through owner's manuals, quality records and all related documentation within Reliance PICs (Product Inspection Category), DMRs (Device Master Records) or CHPs/SOPs documentation in order to obtain technical data and follow procedures within regulationsServe as a liaison between the DME technical support team and divisionProduct Managers in order to open lines of communication in regards to specific product categories for training and product knowledge purposes.Required ExperienceEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Work ExperienceAt least 1 year of experience in Quality, Customer Service, or related field.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesStrong written communication skills.Ability to process all relevant details, understand and prioritize their importance and draw clear and concise conclusions.Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.Benefits - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
