Join the V Team Life.What you’ll be doing...Verizon Global Services, Corporate Systems Group’s (CSG) mission is to digitize Verizon's core processes to deliver real-time insights and capabilities enabling differentiation to our customers, employees, shareholders, and society driving growth and competitive advantage. We are the core of how VZ runs, supporting the corporate lines of business such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Commercial Billing / Settlements, and Global Real Estate.This role will develop and execute the executive communications strategy for the Corporate Systems Group and key change management strategies associated with large business transformation programs. This role will oversee both the internal and external communications strategy tailored to a global workforce, which includes organizing leadership meetings, All Hands communications, and managing the events calendar for the leadership team.This role will be critical in driving organizational success by ensuring that communication is clear, effective and aligned, fostering employee engagement, and enhancing corporate culture as a part of the Corporate Systems Group Communications team.You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:Developing and Implementing Communication Strategies, creating and executing an executive communication strategy and roadmap for the CSG team, focusing on engaging both internal and external stakeholders, with a particular emphasis on employee engagement.Collaborating with Senior Leadership and working closely with CSG senior leadership to provide guidance and support of executive messaging through senior leadership collaborations, communication strategies, and tactics.Developing diverse materials to craft a variety of content tailored to both internal and external audiences, including composing written communications, presentations, video scripts, and talking points for internal audiences, as well as important external-facing leadership communications.Working on budget planning and allocation to create an effective budget that supports communication and engagement activities, such as events and employee recognition, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Driving communication improvements to identify and implement improvements in executive and internal communication channels, and manage a recognition strategy across the CSG team.Managing change communication to partner with CSG senior leadership and HR business partners on communication related to organizational changes.Driving event planning to plan and structure cross-functional Ops Reviews, All Hands meetings, workshops, training, and other CSG leadership and employee engagement events.Training, Compliance and Conference Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for Learning and Development initiatives, ensuring adherence to all mandatory training requirements within CSG.Working on Intern Development to help support interns and the program as necessary.What we’re looking for...You'll need to have:Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.Experience in developing and implementing strategic communications plans across various internal and external channels.Even better if you have one or more of the following:Masters in Business Administration.Experience in employee and leadership communications within a corporate or agency setting.Possess good project management abilities, including organizational, planning, and time management skills.Communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with virtual teams across multiple locations and time zones.Good communication, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in Google suite.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work within specified timelines.Able to provide strategic guidance and advice across all organizational levels.Exhibit solution-oriented mindset, with a willingness to propose innovative ideas and explore new approaches.Have interpersonal skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.Expertise in written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Demonstrates independence, initiative, and enterprising spirit while maintaining high productivity and managing competing priorities.Displays business acumen and analytical prowess.If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.Where you’ll be working
