The Healthcare Senior Analyst will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide critical insights into operational and financial performance. They will help support building and maintaining complex data models and their proficiency in working with large data sets will be crucial. By conducting in-depth data analysis and creating ad hoc reports, they will support strategic decision-making and enhance the team’s ability to achieve key performance goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights on operational and financial performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define key metrics and KPIs
Conduct in-depth data analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives
Create and manage ad hoc reports to address specific business needs and queries
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks
Provide training and support to team members on the use of Power BI and other analytical tools
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in BI and informatics to continuously improve reporting and analysis capabilities
Write and maintain SQL code

Required Qualifications:
Experience with SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools
Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query
Proven solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights
Proven excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Proven solid attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
