and will be responsible for accounting and financial reporting, business unit and/or division finance, strategic planning/budgeting, cash management, capital planning, program finance, and new business finance functions. This Position can be based out of either Great River, NY or Washington DC (Navy Yard).The vision for the AAC finance team is to blend with the parent's TDSI finance and accounting teams as part of a unified home office shared services model.Responsibilities

Responsible for accounting/financial reporting, division finance, strategic planning/budgeting, financial compliance, cash management, capital planning, program finance, and new business finance functionsProvide executive leadership by developing and implementing financial and business operations strategiesProvide financial and accounting guidance to the VP/GM and other senior staff membersAssist management in understanding the business dynamicsGather, interpret, and evaluate operating results in terms of costs, budgets, trends, and policiesPrepare financial statements and reports of findings and recommendations to senior managementServe as main point of contact for auditorsDirect and oversee implementation of large programs and projectsAccountable for meeting project timelines, budgets, performance standards, and department objectivesMay provide analysis on business developmentSelect, supervise, develop, and evaluate accounting staffSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationResponsible for communication of financial metrics, budgets, and information to Thales Defense & Security, Inc. and Thales USA senior leadershipQualifications

U.S. Citizenship requiredBachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 15+ years of work experience, with a minimum of 7 years of leadership experienceGovernment contracting experience highly preferredKnowledge and experience with DCAA/DCMA and FAR regulationsCPA and/or MBA a plusStrong conceptual and business analytical skills, excellent writing and interpersonal communication skillsProficient knowledge with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and expert Excel; Deltek and SAP a plusPeriodic travel to AAC/TDSI locations; travel to NY is required monthly if based in DCThe annualized pay range for this role is $166,500- $212,750 USD along with a target ICP/bonus of 10-15%.For specific questions about this job posting, candidates may contact the recruiter at
