With a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and growth, they are a niche but fast-growing player in the energy efficiency sector.Job DescriptionMy client is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in energy efficiency Projects:Develop and implement quality control plans, ensuring compliance with project requirements and ISO 9001 standards.Conduct inspections and oversee QC processes on energy efficiency-focused projects, including HVAC, lighting, and controls.Coordinate with project teams on federal government and military sites, including oversight of ongoing projects in Norfolk, VA, Charleston, SC, and upcoming projects in DC.Manage client relationships and ensure the highest standards of quality on all projects.Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reporting regularly to senior management on project quality status and compliance.Conduct root cause analysis for any quality issues and implement corrective actions. The Successful ApplicantMinimum 5 years' experience as a QC Manager in construction, with experience in building energy efficiency systems (HVAC, controls, lighting).Experience with federal or military projects; prior experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management System implementation.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with knowledge across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.Completion of US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management (CQM) training and/or CQM for Contractors preferred.Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green/Black Belt), OSHA 30-Hour Certification, and/or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) are beneficial.Experience in energy systems, performance contracts, and military base retrofit work is ideal.Detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and compliance.What's on OfferCompetitive base salary starting at $90,000 USDAnnual bonusesVehicle allowance401K with a generous matchGenerous PTO and Holiday schedule to assist in maintaining work-life balanceOpportunities for professional development and career growthCollaborative and inclusive company cultureTop-notch health benefits - medical, dental, visionContactMya NashQuote job refJN-102024-6578205
