Our Insurance domain client is seeking a
Cloud Developer
to join their team. As a Sr. Cloud Developer, you will be part of the client supporting Team. The ideal candidate will have DuckCreek Policy and DuckCreek Rating data to AWS followed by Snowflake. which will align successfully in the organization.

Job DescriptionThe objective of this project is to transfer all DuckCreek Policy and DuckCreek Rating data to AWS, followed by Snowflake. The process involves moving the data through AWS S3, landing it in Snowflake and then cleaning and preparing it for business logic or data transformations before making it available in views for Analysts.These contractors will leverage knowledge of AWS/Snowflake/Prefect/SQL to support overall strategy of combining and enhancing SQL data to allow for more robust analysis. Overseeing a team of developers for the purpose of adherence to coding standards that deliver on a quality result. This includes attending and supporting all aspects of the project development lifecycle and building a partnership with leadership and application development teams.
Day to Day Responsibilities:•Develop data pipelines to load data from S3 into various schema of Snowflake•Design and develop given data Transformations.•Write unit tests.•Schedule code reviews and follow provided development and deployment standards.
Required Skills:•Cloud Developer experience•Snowflake•Prefect•SQL•AWS/S3 would be most preferred Cloud technology
Preferred experience•HVR experience•Jenkins experience•DevOps experience
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.- In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.- In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
