Metal Saw Machine Operator - Part-time

Job Type Part-timeDescriptionHadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical grade plastics. Hadco products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes waterjet, band saws, disc plate saws, and shears. As a part-time Saw Machine Operator, you will be responsible for cutting aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys to meet customer specifications. We are looking for part-time saw operators to assist with overflow work. Must be able to work a minimum of (3) three shifts per week between the hours of 6:00PM-12:00AM (hours flexible). Weekend work is also available.Role & Responsibilities:Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.Monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes.Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals. RequirementsMinimum Requirements:Able to work a minimum of 3 evening shifts per week, 4-6 hours each starting at 6:00PM. Possess strong math and measuring skills, including fractions and decimals.
