Vice Presidents are responsible for helping conceive and execute strategic programs and communications initiatives in support of Teneo clients. This may include, but not be limited to online and offline communications strategy and tactics, long-term and rapid response planning, and crisis management. Vice President are highly motivated and dedicated individuals with experience in fields such as corporate strategy, communications, investor relations, government affairs and public relations. Vice Presidents will work closely Account Leaders to manage client engagements and deliver best-in-class service.Responsibilities:Develop and manage communications plans and campaigns on behalf of clientsResponsible for writing strategic plans, press releases, talking points, Q&As, briefing memos, and distributed media materials; managing messages; and coordinating client program activitiesWork directly with clients to create and execute on communications initiativesManages “Core Account Team” and delivers high quality client serviceDraws on client experiences and external trends to advise others on how to best meet clients’ current and future needsBegins to establish relationships with senior-level clientsHelps establish priorities based on strategic direction, considering multiple perspectives and interdependencies with othersEnsures objectives are met within time, project and risk parameters by establishing team objectives and plans and adapting them as requires in response to change or ambiguityQualifications:Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and execute multiplatform communications strategies; familiarity with social media recommendedBeginning to develop strong media and business contactsExperience in pitching content and reporters to print, broadcast and online mediaAbility to think creatively, approach communications from new angles, and manage both up and down the organizationEducation - Bachelor’s degree or equivalentSuggested work experience from 6 to 12 years’ experience in public relations/corporate communications/mediaWhat We OfferAs a Teneo employee, you will enjoy unique benefits including flexible time off policy; medical, dental, and vision coverage; long-term disability, and life insurance; a 401K plan; commuter benefits; team events; snacks; and other perks.Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionTeneo is an equal opportunity employer and promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace.
