Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site locationFloating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contractWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:• Join our remarkable highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team, to provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in this state-of-the art 21-bed unit.• Provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a wide variety of both medical and surgical problems. Problems include: acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi system organ failure, and ECMO.SHIFT: 36 hours/week. Day/Evening, 0, every other weekendMinimum Requirements:Facility Requirement:• Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.• Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.Experience:• Pediatric ICU experience required.• Solid experience in PICU, and some CV ICU or cardiac step down or general cardiac experience required.• Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years.Licensure and Certification:• Traveler must have Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact license from their permanent address state.• BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY• PALS - must be certified through American Heart AssociationEducation:• Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.Telemetry• Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
