Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Assembler to join our wiring harness team. This role involves installing and mounting nonelectrical and electrical interior/exterior components and hardware, such as electrical modules and wiper motors. You will work with basic hand tools, requiring dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Responsibilities include assembling fabricated parts, reading blueprints and engineering specifications, ensuring safety and quality standards, and inspecting products for quality.
Responsibilities
Install and mount nonelectrical and electrical interior/exterior components and hardware.
Assemble fabricated parts, components, or other units at stations.
Read blueprints and engineering specifications.
Ensure safety requirements and manufacturing quality are met.
Clean and inspect the product for quality standards.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements (2+ years of experience needed).
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns (2+ years of experience needed).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally.
Physical ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, and climb up and down ladders.
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
