The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the delivery of Willis Towers Watson’s HR technology solutions to clients. You will support the project team in meeting clients' business needs. You will be responsible for developing requirements, data specifications, data validation, and testing tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Functional requirements definition & documentation. Conduct meetings with client Subject Matter Experts to gather, review and document requirements for authentication and roles
Specification development & securing signoff
Develop data layout specifications by collaborating with other project team members to verify project requirements
Develop Total Reward/Site Logic Guide and Role Logic
System / application configuration
Liaise with developers during Configuration & UAT
Create, enter, load sample content for design to leverage
Process incoming data files following WTW standards
Conducts first level data checks and analysis in order to ensure professional standards and excellent in client services
Work with IT resources to set up file directories for each data source
Using an approved web script, add content to web sites
Assist in testing web sites, using approved test plans, and raise or resolve issues as appropriate
Participate in UAT - Troubleshooting & functional defect remediation
Attends team or client meetings as requested
Participate in end user training
Post Production Validation
Apply all quality control procedures to ensure high standards of quality are maintained
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Qualifications
Requirements
5-7 years’ experience as a Software Business Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related area
Experience with a technology solutions including a general understanding of IT and enterprise software application a plus
Experience with data analysis, SQL and understanding of relational databases
Experience in configuring applications, data, networking, hardware and implementation
Functional or industry knowledge / experience in the application of technology to solve human resources needs such as: Pension/HW administration and valuation, compensation, employee engagement, database and benchmarking
Knowledge of various employee benefits is a plus
Experience in understanding and documenting technical solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
Familiarity with standard web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, XML. etc.), JIRA, Web-based applications and tools a plus
Experience with test plans creation, testing procedures, and test plan execution
Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Structured problem solving and analytical thinking
Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity
The highest attention to detail
Organizational and time management skills
Demonstrates flexibility, accountability, and ability to deliver multiple projects with quality and excellence
Ability to work extended hours as needed
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, and performance in the role.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $82,000 - $95,000 USD.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
