Primary Function

APCOM's climate controlled facility in Franklin, Tennessee, manufactures electric thermostats, pipe nipples, dip tubes, elements, and burner assemblies. The3rd Shift Material Handler will move materials as needed in accordance with required work instructions. Candidate will be responsible for completing training and performing the following job functions.

Regularly Scheduled Hours: Sunday- Thursday- 9:45pm- 6:15am; s ome OT required (possible early arrival or Fridays)

Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.82/hr (Base of $21.82/hr plus $1.00/hr shift differential)

Bonus Opportunity: $1500

$500 at 90th day of hire, $500 at 180th day of hire, $500 at 365th day of hire

Must not be on a corrective action for attendance to qualify for bonus payments

Responsibilities

Will perform Material Handler functions as needed in accordance with required work instructions.

Must be able to safely operate a reach truck, cherry picker and a forklift; use SVPT scanners and RF scanners

Will be required to learn all duties in the Warehouse including receiving product from the trailers, covering the floor by filling issues and pulling finished goods, supporting Warehouse and pulling shipments

Must be able to perform accurate and precise system transactions

Must be flexible and willing to work in different areas and on different tasks

Comply with all the safety, quality, and procedure requirements as noted in the applicable Work Instructions

Will train in picking orders in Warehouse for MTO, stock and production, with accuracy being a priority

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED

Previous warehouse experience required

Must have experience in 2/3 PIT Equipment: Sit down forklift, reach truck, and cherry picker

Basic computer knowledge; knowledge of SAP a plus

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand/walk for the entire shift

Must be a self-starter, well organized, have good attendance, be able to work both independently and as a team member, possess good communication and interpersonal skills
