ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide oversight and support to all clinical operations in areas assigned.
Provide oversight and monitor clinical services as it relates to service provision, treatment and access.
Review and analyze clinical and operational performance results. Develop plans for improvement as needed.
Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
Develop and implement behavioral health processes, procedures and policies across programs.
Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning and reporting processes as appropriate.
Represent the company at meetings in the community.
Collaborate with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative work environment.
Support compliance by adherence to accreditation standards as well as standards of funding agencies and licensing boards.
· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Psychiatric Nursing required.
Five or more years’ experience in behavioral health services with clinical experience with all target populations (SMI, SED, DD, SUD) required.
Three or more years’ supervision experience required.
Management or administration experience and/or three years work experience in Utilization Management required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Meet DWMHA credentialing requirements for professional practice Masters Level licensed behavioral health professional as QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) CMHP (Child Mental Health Professional), and QMRP (Qualified Mental Retardation Professional).
Must possess a full license in one of the following disciplines: LLP/LP, LPC, LMSW, NP/RN.
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
