Vice President, Delivery
is positioned within Proprietary Product Management New Product Development organization and will support both Card and Loyalty feature launches. This role is responsible for liaising with Product teams to define requirements for new launches and enhancements that will deliver exceptional experiences.
This position is best suited for someone seeking a fast paced environment geared towards problem solving. The person in this role should be highly organized and comfortable working through ambiguity and change. This person will work with technology teams to support functional changes and will benefit from having the ability to bridge gaps between business needs and technical requirements. It is preferred that the successful candidate have prior experience with delivering tech enhancements in customer-facing applications and experience with relationship management. This role is ideal for someone with an innovative mindset and real-world experience distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs. Most importantly, you will be integral to helping us build better products that people love to use.
Responsibilities of this Role:
As the Business Delivery Product Manager, you will lead complex projects launching Credit Cards and building stellar user experiences that allow customers to engaged with the cards fully.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to craft vision and concept development of a product.
Work within a scrum team to lead assigned projects from ideation to implementation.
Partner with product management/business teams to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development teams.
Mitigate roadblocks impacting successful completion of release/sprint goals.
Work with internal and external partners to ensure deliverables and milestones are on track.
Communicate and present product delivery timelines, roadmaps and status various levels of leadership.
Balance exceptional solutions against timelines and capacity; leverage ability to influence stakeholders and tech teams for best possible outcome.
Requirements:
Calm under pressure, with an ability to create order out of chaos.
Ability to understand business objectives and distill into features, stories and high-level requirements.
Organized, capable of tracking multiple deadlines and deliverables for stakeholders and technical teams.
Proficient with user story format, technical documentation, JIRA and Confluence.
Technically savvy, with knowledge of APIs, digital user experience and how it integrates with the back-end framework, batch files and more.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
