The Compliance Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics contributes to the success of the program by promoting a culture of compliance through training, implementing and managing compliance policies, and partnering with functional teams to ensure compliance with medical device industry, regulatory and Danaher Code of Conduct requirements.
This position is part of the Legal & Compliance department located in Brea and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Compliance team and report to the Chief Compliance Officer, together delivering Beckman Coulter’s compliance program to the organization globally. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Enhance the development of the organization’s compliance program to promote a culture of compliance globally
Provide guidance on the application of compliance policies, including interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to meet OIG’s 7 elements of an effective compliance program
Partner across the organization to ensure compliance with Sunshine Act reporting requirements and global transparency requirements
Directly manage compliance related investigations
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related work experience in the medical device industry, including compliance risk management practices and methodologies
Working knowledge of industry codes of conduct and compliance requirements such as U.S. AdvaMed Code of Ethics and MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice
Working knowledge of U.S. Physician Payment Sunshine Act, U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the False Claims Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute
Knowledge of global anti-bribery and transparency laws
Demonstrated experience with leading or supporting compliance investigations
Effective stakeholder management skills and ability to work across all levels in a multinational organization
Experience in implementing compliance policies and providing training in support of compliance polices and medical device industry standards
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Driving improved efficiency in the development of a compliance program in the medical device industry
Providing compliance training in large international organizations
The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
