What Will You Be Doing?
The Sr Network Planning Analyst analyzes and monitors core schedule plans and close in adjustments.This position will support several key functions of network planning such as: selecting routes Frontier Airlines will fly, establishing the levels of capacity in each route, and building a network structure that yields the highest revenue potential for the company
Essential Functions
Monitor and evaluate the existing route network and recommend capacity and/or schedule adjustments to maximize the financial performance of the entire networkForecast potential new routes using existing forecasting methods as well as innovating new methods into the Network team processes.Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Revenue Management and others to ensure a commercially, financially, and operationally viable schedule for the airlineGather, analyze, and report on intelligence to our internal stakeholders on capacity, revenue, competition, and other financial performance indicators in a way that is easy to consume.Improve on models that aid in the production and optimization of capacity plans while maintaining operational targets and efficienciesComplete ad hoc tasks as assigned including but not limited to reporting, forecasting, media support, building presentations, etc.Communicate frequency plan information to various internal teams as requestedExpress and defend ideas in a highly competitive environmentQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer studies or related aviation field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degreeMinimum three (3+) year of airline planning and scheduling experienceExperience with airline data intelligence tools like Diio, ADI, etc. preferredExperience with Sabre Schedule Manager or competing products a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel, Diio and Sabre Schedule Manager, or comparable product suiteUnderstanding of airline financial metrics and how network decisions impact company financial and operational performanceFamiliarity with ULCC airline planning/scheduling philosophy and practicesStrong communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate ideas to leadershipExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailKnowledge of aircraft and aircraft performance capabilities
