Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $30 - $33 / hour. This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.What you'll be doing as a Heavy Equipment Operator: Drilling rocks using a variety of heavy equipment including drills, bulldozers, and excavators Communicate via hand signals, radio communication, and/or using occupant safety devices Pre-operational checks of equipment as well as basic maintenance Performing site planning and setup by assessing jobsite conditions and identifying or selecting appropriate attachments for the work to be done Completing and maintaining equipment log sheets and reports Working cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers Working outdoors in appropriate safety and protective equipment Continuously learning about new techniques/equipment in order to operate safely while maintaining productivity Will be operating heavy machinery as well as doing minor welding and occasional shoveling of gravel Available Shifts:Shift Timings: All AvailableJob Requirements: Experience with heavy construction equipment and trucks and/or performing maintenance on heavy equipment Excavator and Bulldozer Experience Working knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electronics Valid Driver's License due to driving company vehicle Tools of the trade and ability to bring them to the jobsite Able to occasionally lift and move more than 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time References to verify the professional skills and experience you bring to the team Background check and drug screening required Must have a flexible schedule as some nights and weekends are required. Shifts change according to customers demand. Must be physical fit to be able to shovel gravel and jump on and off of machinery. Must also have clean driving record. Valid drivers license required.
