The Embassy Suites Los Angeles International Airport South is currently hiring an experienced Driver-Bellperson, eager to serve our guests. This role is responsible for transporting guests in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner using safe driving practices, escorts arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations, transporting their luggage, acquainting each guest with their room and features and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. A valid California Commercial Class B license with passenger endorsement is required in order to drive our shuttles. Applicants must be available Fridays through Mondays.

What will I be doing?
As a Driver/Bellperson, you would be responsible transporting guests in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner using safe driving practices, escorts arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations, transporting their luggage, acquainting each guest with their room and features and responding to guest requests. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Comprehends and abides by all traffic regulations while transporting customers to and from the airport terminal or other designated site.
Retrieves guest items from cars, shuttle, and carts. Grasps, lift, carry and/or load luggage and packages onto a bell cart to transport items throughout hotel to designated room. Navigates bell cart through public areas, guest room corridors and to elevators.
Listens, understands and responds immediately to customer and employee inquiries and request for assistance. Greets customers with a friendly and sincere welcome.
Remains calm and alert especially during emergencies or heavy hotel activity and handles complications from driving in the local community.
Clearly communicates the features, and services of the hotel facilities.
Escorts customer to accommodations, visually inspects room and telephone and deficiencies such as towels to housekeeping immediately. Points out room features and directory for reference.
Organizes and store luggage as necessary in a designated area.
Greets customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Remain calm and attentive, especially during heavy hotel activity and emergencies.
Pay Range -
The hourly wage is $25.23 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
