Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, IT Business Partner, the IT Patient Services Lead is a hands-on role that is responsible for developing and supporting Rhythm’s Health Cloud platform, which is designed to enable and transform the care of patients with rare genetic diseases of obesity.
Responsibilities and Duties
Support the development and customization of Salesforce Health Cloud to meet the unique needs of the Patient Services and Support team across the design, configuration and implementation.
Design and recommend best-practice solutions based on Rhythm’s needs
Collaborate with the Patient Services and Support teams to understand their unique needs and challenges, offering technical solutions to improve patient engagement and operational efficiency
Configure and optimize Salesforce Health Cloud to align with Rhythm’s specific requirements including data model customization, workflow automation, security settings, and user setup
Design and implement solutions within Salesforce Health Cloud, including creating custom objects, fields, Lightning components, and workflows
Work closely with Rhythm’s data team and partners to maintain integrations between Salesforce Health Cloud and other systems (including Rhythm Data Warehouse)
Empower data analytics to enable Rhythm to deliver visibility and insights to our patients
Manage the day-to-day support model, including related 3rd party call and fax applications, and vendors to ensure all created systems are functionating properly and working well collectively
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
Willingness to learn and use new technologies
Be able to work in a ‘hands on’ capacity as needed and appropriate
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
5+ years’ experience working in information or sales technology functions within FDA regulated companies.
Must have previous Salesforce Health Cloud experience
Implementation experience with a biotech or pharma in the Commercial and Medical technology or data areas preferred.
Global experience a plus
Vendor management skills; experience and knowledge of available vendors in the IT space
Broad, state-of-the-art technology awareness that can be applied creatively to business problems and opportunities
Strong collaboration and listening skills, able to transform user feedback into system improvements with a sense of urgency
High level of curiosity to proactively learn new technologies and features and apply them on the job
Ensure a welcoming partner-based environment throughout the company as it pertains to technology areas
Willingness to learn and use new technologies
Be able to work in a ‘hands on’ capacity as needed and appropriate
Candidates based in the Boston area within commuting distance to our office are preferred, although will consider those based remotely within the Eastern Standard Time zone. Rhythm operates in a hybrid-work model. Candidates applying must be willing and able to be in the Boston office in coordination with their department and business needs.
This role may involve some travel.
