The Associate Director of Innovative Programs will have the primary responsibilities of managing the implementation of a set of programs and services as well as establishing a network across the broad variety of stakeholders with whom we work to make that happen.
This individual will work collaboratively in order to expand our tradition of innovation at GSE through Catalyst.
Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesWork with the Director of Growth and Impact and others to implement and manage a series of innovative, programs, grants, services and processes in areas that meet Catalyst’s strategic priorities. Assist with identifying revenue-generating opportunities through grants and assist with the grant implementation as appropriate. Provides grant proposal and development support as needed. Manage grant compliance and ensure that all requirements are being met.
Develop comprehensive project plans and track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals through measured returns and achieved expected outcomes. These projects will vary and be determined by the Director of Growth and Impact or the Vice Dean of Innovative Programs and Partnerships.
Help establish and manage a network of stakeholders with whom we partner to empower the ecosystem to tackle the pressing problems of education practice together via a crowd-sourced approach. Oversee and manage practitioner inquiries.
Keep current on the latest trends in education, research to practice, incubation in education, industry trends, and the future of teaching and learning.
QualificationsESSENTIAL:A Master's degree and 2-3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Practical project management knowledge and experience.
Previous experience with strategic planning.
Strong presentation, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
Attention to quality of output and detail along with adaptability and ability to tolerate ambiguity.
Strength in building and maintaining effective relationships across working groups and consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage evolving priorities.
PREFERRED:Knowledge of and passion for education and innovation.
