Our stores offer a core assortment of Hawaiian Koa Wood products that includes jewelry, home decor, gifts and accessories. With Hawaii at the heart of our inspiration we also have a curated selection of island lifestyle products that range from resort wear and casual apparel to apothecary and souvenirs. We operate a store at the International Market Place and soon to open Ala Moana Center location.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR GREAT FULL TIME CANDIDATE TO FILL OUR LEAD SALES SUPERVISOR POSITION.

As a supervisor you would be responsible for supporting store management in overseeing and managing our store. In partnership with the Store Manager you will help shape the customer service experience and set the operational and selling standards.

The right leader is a self-motivated professional who shares a passion for Hawaii, art, and all things symbolic of our island lifestyle. You will join a committed team who is actively working to do good for Hawaii and the environment.

This position reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a sales role model and business leader for the team by exemplifying company values and providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Support the Store Manager as a co-leader in setting standards, and training sales colleagues.
  • Help manage daily operational activities, including opening or closing the store, processing of daily incoming and outbound merchandise requests and shipments.
  • Communicate product and inventory needs. Proactively follow current competitors and fashion trends, and industry news.
  • Ensure a high level of merchandise and visual standards.
  • Serve as a resource for any information relating to sales, product and customer service.
  • Maintain operational standards, including stock room organization, loss prevention, POS, and communicate deficiencies.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of work experience in a leadership role, speciality retail preferred.
  • Ability to professionally interact with Customers, Colleagues, and Vendor Partners.
  • Emotional intelligence: healthy interpersonal behavior, positive attitude, self-aware, curious to learn and seeks feedback from others to continuously grow.
  • Have a high degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when the opportunity arises.
  • Tech savvy, familiar with retail systems, computers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in setting priorities according to business needs.
  • Ability to work in a retail environment with constant movement and standing.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
