As a
Senior Principal Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineer , you will work on a close-knit team to create advanced, physics-based modeling solutions in the DoD Space. You will develop key technologies in the Electro-Optics/Infra-Red (EO/IR) domain to help engineers grasp the most complex aspects of energy transport, enabling the design and test of tomorrow’s artificial intelligence algorithms and hardware solutions. You will deploy cutting-edge technologies, leveraging your software development skills and collaborating with your Signal and Sensor Modeling peers

This is an Onsite role in Tucson, Arizona
What You will Do
:You will champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.You will develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.You will deploy EO or Radio Frequency (RF) phenomenology and advanced physics concepts in a software implementation.You will enable our customer’s success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.You will work efficiently inside an established software product, across programming languages, and technical environments.You will research and develop novel EO or RF modeling solutions.You will coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems.You will mentor and share EO or RF expertise with your team.
Qualifications You Must Have
:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and ten (10) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:Experience applying object-oriented software design, programming in C or C++, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data setsExperience with UNIX/Linux, Apple OS, or Windows DOS command lineExperience in Electro-Optics (EO), radar processing, Imaging EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing or discrimination algorithmsThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

:Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degreeExperience with OpenGL, CUDA, or other GPU accelerated languages/architectures and Scene Generation / Sensor Modeling technologiesExperience with electronic warfare modeling, developing signal processing algorithms for missile applications, signal & image processing, digital communications, or estimation theory, or AI/ML and training techniquesExperience with Real-time Programming, software change management tools and processes, using and augmenting Build Systems (Make/CMake), and working with large production software environmentExperience with and ability to interface with adjacent engineering disciplines (Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering)Current Department of Defense Clearance

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
