RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Support Specialist is a crucial role within our Fitech by Deluxe division that will help support and maintain existing customers.Identify and create ways to retain current merchants
Address escalations that may arise due to issues
Make decisions regarding pricing, refunds, closings, early termination fees, and contract renewals.
This energetic team member will be required to call and at times meet with business customers virtually or in person
Address issues including but not limited to; pricing, service, maintenance, new equipment orders, training, contract discussions.
Performs a number of customer service retention activities to support the current merchant base
Maintain active pipeline of Merchant account retention efforts and service issues.
Analyze statements and answer questions from merchants for clarification purposes
Quote prices and place rate reviews to aid in retention efforts
Secure and submit completed paperwork and arrange merchant implementation and training
Call on and track merchant issues generated through escalations / surveys
Explain PCI, Fees, and gather answers to other industry related topics
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: HS/GED
AND
4 years relevant experience;
OR
Associate's Degree
AND
2 years relevant experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
( Desired but not required
)
Banking experience
