**Job Title: Shop Hand****Job Description**We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our team. This position involves a variety of daily, weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our shop and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be comfortable performing both routine and varied tasks in a dynamic environment.**Responsibilities**+ Dump trash in main building and shop perimeter+ Patrol yard for trash and debris and any signs of tampering+ Inspect all company and customer vehicles and verify they are locked at the end of shift+ Clean and organize shop tool lockers+ Empty steel trash bins in fab room and all bays+ Wipe down oil tanks in lube area+ Wipe down portable grease dispensers+ Inspect forklifts+ Remove any and all weeds on property+ Clean and degrease equipment and vehicles+ Steam clean forklifts+ Pressure wash display bodies+ Detail trucks+ Wipe down shop equipment+ Organize hydraulic solvent tank+ Repair paint on building when needed+ Breakdown pallets for disposal+ Assist techs when needed**Essential Skills**+ Knowledge of automotive parts+ Mechanical aptitude+ Experience with power tools**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Strong communication proficiency+ Excellent organizational skills+ Good mathematical skills+ Technical capacity+ Attention to detail+ Effective time management**Why Work Here?**We offer a competitive 401(k) plan with a 6% match, as well as health, dental, and vision insurance, with 60% of premiums paid for employees and 50% for dependents. The hours may change based on need. This role involves working in a warehouse and shop setting, with outdoor exposure during the workday. You will routinely use standard warehouse and shop equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, steam cleaners, and box cutters. The role requires regular use of hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. Frequent standing, walking, and sitting for long periods are required, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds.
