Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Non Invasive Imaging Pediatric Echo Sonographer
Shift:
Variable Days / between 7a and 9a (8x5) 40 hours per week, M-F
Length:
13 weeksOncall generally starts after first 30 days, depending upon ability tolearn protocol. Call is one week (5 days). If on call is over theweekend, it starts Friday 5pm and ends Monday at 7am. Rotation frequencydepends upon the number of staff.
Requirements :1-3 years of recent experience in performing adult or pediatric cardiac echocardiograms is requiredBLSGraduation from an accredited school of ultrasound technology or a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science preferred.
Other details:Knowledgeof congenital anomalies (not required for adult echo tech) is requiredof all Pedi echo techs, as the associate is required to move from basicto complex knowledge of complex CONGENITAL heart defects
Eligible to take Registry exam upon hire dateNewgrads who have completed their clinical and didactics at an accreditedprogram or have their BA and are eligible to sit for their registryMust pass within a year of hiring and must be registered in pediatrics, in order to proceed to the next career level.
