Hiring for Material Handlers Location: Ashland, Virginia (On-site)Job Type: PermanentJob Description:Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler! In this role, you will:Unload and Stack: Use lifting devices to manage roll stock and paper materials.Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down forklifts and primarily clamp trucks.Handle Logistics: Manage inbound and outbound shipping, including loading and unloading trucks and rail cars.Maintain Operations: Keep the warehouse running smoothly and ensure a clean workspace.Inventory Control: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for cycle counts and inventory management.Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards.Hard Skills Required:Proficiency in supply and inventory management systemsStrong computer skillsForklift operation experienceAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
