providing
comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care,
radiology
and oncology services.
Responsibilities
Provides direct invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary exams and procedures.
Administers, monitors and records medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians including, but not limited to, setting up and maintaining patient ventilation, and performing arterial blood gas procedures.
Set up, maintains and monitors equipment and notifies designated management of malfunctions.
Attends professional meetings and maintains credentials and/or licensure.Participates in the development and review of policies and procedures.Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
Cooperates & interacts with superiors, peers, other departments, & all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Program. Related experience may be substituted for related educationCurrent NM Respiratory Care LicenseBLSPreferred Job Requirements:Bachelors degree in related fieldOne (1) year of related experienceAARC MembershipNational Specialty CertificationPALS, NRP, or ACLS may be required by facility/department
