Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in the aerospace manufacturing process, focusing on improving production efficiency, quality, and safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste in aerospace production.Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain production schedules.Utilize lean manufacturing principles and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AS9100) and implement quality control measures.Assist in the selection and design of tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for manufacturing processes.Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Work closely with design engineers, supply chain, and other departments to ensure manufacturability of new products and modifications to existing designs.Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment, promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies used in aerospace applications.Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing tools.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Six Sigma or lean methodologies.Knowledge of aerospace regulations and standards.
