I am working with a renowned luxury resort who is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to help lead its culinary team and elevate the dining experience for guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing innovative menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role involves collaborating with suppliers to source ingredients, overseeing staff training, and creating memorable culinary experiences that reflect the resort's commitment to excellence.
Skills and Experience5+ years in culinary management roles, at least 3 years as an Executive Sous Chef, within a large property featuring multiple dining outletsFamiliarity with division operations, as well as the cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures of the organization, typically acquired through on-the-job trainingProficient in operating computer systems related to food and beverage managementCompetence in using culinary production equipment and tools effectivelyAbility to work with chefs and managers across the resort, understanding the flow among departments in the food and beverage division
