ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER: REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT

The Assistant Project Manager will be an entry level position responsible for:
• assisting the development team in compiling initial site layouts and feasibility reports, as well as budgets and timelines for commercial retail development projects.
• managing all aspects of the due diligence process including feasibility studies, geotechnical evaluations, environmental audits, and surveys.
• Interacting with municipalities and our consultants to entitle and obtain permits for the company’s projects.
• coordinating our design consultants in designing project in compliance with our client criteria and the local codes.
• coordinating the bidding process with our in-house construction team.
• assisting property management team in handling existing project tenants.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years direct experience in luxury condominium and apartment development in Miami• BS degree in accredited 4 year college or university with a concentration in real estate, finance and/or construction.• Strong organizational skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple tasks in short timeframes.• Computer proficiency and related software knowledge (Microsoft including MS Project)• Strong customer service skills.• Strong work ethic; self motivated.• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.• Strong communication skills• Knowledge of construction standards, work methods, materials and operating practices.
