Job description:

This individual is responsible for positioning and promoting products and solutions in Home Care and Personal Care markets through integrated communications plans including but not limited to media engagement, thought leadership, tradeshows (in-person and virtual), advertising, literature production, as well as digital and social media. It is critical for this individual to understand content marketing and be capable of managing digital communication programs. He or she will be responsible for the development and execution of North America communications plans that align to global communications strategies for Home Care and Personal Care markets. This individual must be a solutions-minded, collaborative team member that works well with a global team, across multiple global markets and is able to organize, prioritize and execute numerous ongoing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Develop and implement marketing communication programs for Home Care and Personal Care markets in North America in alignment with market strategies in the region• Communicate and collaborate regularly with the global Consumer Solutions communications team to ensure alignment with global marketing communications strategies and to leverage and share communications materials and best practices• Lead communication campaigns and content development in the region to promote products and solutions with ongoing measurement based on business objectives• Develop messaging, facilitate creative advertising campaigns and write communications materials, including public relations materials (press releases, fact sheets, etc.)• Coordinate the organization of customer events, tradeshows and conferences (in-person and virtual)• Lead email campaigns, regional social media and digital communication strategy and priorities, including organic and paid campaigns, channel management, reputation management and measurement• Oversee allocated regional marketing communications budget and agency management, including agency performance and relationship management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Deep understanding of strategic communications, content marketing and media engagement• Ability to work with a variety of cultures, functions and businesses and other stakeholder groups along with the skills to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously - prioritizing a diverse range of projects and meeting tight deadlines.• Knowledge of emerging digital trends, tools, and analytics• Strong organizational and project management skills

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required• Marketing/marketing communications background is preferred• Agency management experience is preferred• Budget management experience is preferred• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.• No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
