Construction Project Manager
to join our team and oversee projects from inception through completion, ensuring high standards and timely execution.
Position Overview:The
Construction Project Manager
will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating luxury mid-rise and high-rise projects, particularly those focused on multifamily construction. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in high-rise and concrete construction, budget management, and the ability to lead a diverse team. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Project Management:Oversee luxury mid-rise and high-rise multifamily projects with a particular focus on high-end finishes, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout each phase of the project.Team Leadership:Coordinate a diverse team of subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other professionals to achieve optimal project outcomes, ensuring all work aligns with project plans and specifications.Budget Management:Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring all expenditures align with project constraints while delivering high-quality results. Identify opportunities for cost-saving without compromising quality.Construction Methodologies:Leverage expertise in construction methods and materials, particularly concrete and high-rise construction, to ensure that each project is executed efficiently and meets industry standards.Scheduling and Planning:Plan and organize all construction processes, scheduling tasks, milestones, and resources efficiently using project management software such as Procore, Prolog, P6/Primavera, and Microsoft Project.Regulatory Compliance and Quality Control:Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, building codes, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Implement quality assurance measures and conduct inspections throughout the project lifecycle.Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Maintain clear, timely, and transparent communication to ensure all parties are aligned on project progress and expectations.Problem Solving:Identify and address any project issues or risks, implementing swift solutions to keep the project on track. Mitigate potential delays or cost overruns by proactive risk management and decision-making.Time Management:Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day construction activities and the timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications:Experience:7+ years of experience managing luxury mid-rise and high-rise multifamily construction projects, with extensive expertise in concrete structures and high-end finishes.Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.Certifications:PMP or equivalent certification is a strong asset.Technical Proficiency:Advanced knowledge and practical experience using construction and project management software such as Procore, Prolog, P6/Primavera, and Microsoft Project.Skills and Attributes:Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Superior communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.A solid understanding of construction materials, processes, regulations, and safety standards.
