on behalf of an industry-leading industrial equipment manufacturing company. This position is based at a plant near
Hudson, OH
Position Overview:The Electrical Designer will play a key role in designing and developing electrical systems for advanced combustion equipment. This person will manage prototype development, ensure product safety and compliance, and create maintenance plans to uphold peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:Design and develop electrical panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and control hardware.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, including NEC and UL508 standards.Create specifications and system designs based on customer needs.Program PLC and HMI systems using tools like RSLogix and FactoryTalk View.Configure industrial networking communications (Ethernet, Profibus, DeviceNet, Modbus).Conduct quality assurance tests on electrical systems prior to shipment.Provide technical support over the phone or onsite as needed (occasional travel required).
Qualifications:Associates or Bachelor’s degree required.Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering.Strong understanding of electrical codes and complex system design.Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
